30 Days of TV meme - Day 8

In my opinion this is a bit of an unrealistic request. I don't think there's any one show that everyone should watch. My dad, for example, would be highly uninterested in almost everything I like but loves shows involving explosions which I hate. Nothing pleases everyone. I think I'm going to approach this answer in terms of describing a show I would encourage people to watch.
First and foremost if would be 'Press Gang'. I'm sure that most people of my age or older would love it. I'm not sure about younger people as I don't really know any! I guess they might just see it as being very dated.
I'd also encourage more people to watch 'Outnumbered'. I think many people are put off by the fact that it's a BBC sitcom. I guess they think it's going to be like 'Last of the Summer Wine' or something similar but it really, really isn't. It's the funniest thing I've seen on TV years. I laugh out loud every single week.
