I just watched Spiderman courtesy of Lovefilm. I'm aware that I'm a bit late to the party as it was released in 2002 but I never claimed to be up to date with developments in the movie world! I have to say that I quite enjoyed it. There was a bit too much CGI for my liking (at some points it was obvious to me that I was watching a computer animated Spiderman not a live action one) and it all felt a bit rushed but in general I felt that it was a satisfactory way to spend an evening. The cliffhanger was done really well so I guess I'll have to watch the sequals now.
I haven't really achieved much else today. I watched some of the world athletics championship this morning (go Jessica Ennis!) and then went to the chiropodist. After that I took my plastic down to Tesco to put in the recycling bank then popped in to Tesco and Asda on the way home. I considered doing a workout video but it was much too hot in the flat to start jumping around. I really must try and do something tomorrow though.
Mum and dad have arrived back from holiday in one piece. I'm sure they will have lots of photos to show me tomorrow. They seem to have been all over the far north of England and south of Scotland. Hopefully, all their plants have survived my tender loving care.
