I'm unloved and unwanted...
May. 9th, 2008 10:44 pmMy tap still won't turn off properly. My dad isn't going to be able to come and look at it until next weekend at the earliest :(
My Galilleo Thermometer is informing me that it's 26 degrees in the flat. It's been uncomfortably hot in the office all day. I urgently need to buy some summer clothes. I went to Primark yesterday and bought a grey hoodie to wear around the flat which wasn't really what I went in for. Today I bought a pair of smart black 'city shorts' from New Look. I haven't tried them on yet but I'm hoping they'll do for work. If they don't fit I'm going to keep them to encourage me to lose weight. My colleague is doing Weight Watchers which is inspiring me. I'll feel much better if I'm a size 10 again. I started by doing a work out DVD today and I'm going to try and keep it up.
Watched 'Curse of the Were Rabbit' yesterday night. It was good but not as 'laugh out loud' funny as I'd hoped it would be. I love the amazing attention to detail that goes in to the Wallace and Grommit films and I adore Grommit. What a hero! I wonder what LoveFilm will send me next.
No real plans for the weekend. Will probably go shopping tomorrow, then do my recycling and sort out the flat on Sunday.
I can't believe how fast the academic year is going. Only 7 weeks until the end of term now.
