Not happy...
May. 6th, 2008 10:53 pmCold water has been trickling constantly from my bath tap since yesterday afternoon. It stops if I pull the tap towards me with all my strength but starts again as soon as I let go. Last time a similar problem occured it had stopped of its own accord by now. My bath kept going cold last night. I think I'm going to have to ask my dad to come and have a look. This is annoying as it is admitting defeat. I am meant to be a strong, independent woman. I shouldn't need to call a man every time something goes wrong. Hmph!
Also, my back hurts and I feel a bit rubbish. A lot of people seem to have headaches at the moment so maybe I'm about to go down with something.
At least I managed to clean my balcony doors and take the spring bulbs out of my planter. The bulbs are currently drying out in the living room. Once they're dry I'm going to store them and hopefully use them again next year. Not sure how good they'll be as I don't think I fed them enough once the flowers had died off. Worth a try I guess. I'm going to try and convince my parents to take me to the garden centre next week to buy some pansies to put in the planter for spring. Last year I had petunias which were a bit of a disappointment as they grew down the side of the pot and I couldn't really see them from inside.
Still haven't got around to watching 'The Curse of the Were Rabbit'. I meant to watch it last night but ended up watching the first two episodes of Gavin and Stacey on BBC3 instead. I like Gavin and Stacey. I love sit coms and I'm impressed with the way they've reinvented the genre for a new generation but without it being too wierd. I don't like all the new comedy on BBC3 (I thought Nighty Night was awful for example and I couldn't get to grips with Grown Ups) but some is great. I also saw the first episode in the new series of Ideal last night which I enjoyed. But I do have a bit of a thing about Jonny Vegas. Don't ask!
And I started my Press Gang re-watch. How I love series two.
