The UK is currently in the midst of a severe weather morning. I was wearing stupid shoes as usual and nearly blew over whilst waiting for the bus this morning. Additionally, I was 15 minutes late for work as the minute it pours with rain the roads between here and work slow down to a crawl. At lunch time I walked down to the canteen. There is a covered walkway but it was so windy the rain was ralling almost horizontally. As I stepped out from the covered walkway to the canteen door a load of rain came off of the top of the walkway and went right down the back of my neck. I was not amused. On the way home my umbrella blew inside out and now won't close properly. By the time I got home, having been to the library for 45 minutes after work, my trousers were so wet I had to put them in the airing cupboard. At work the skylight leaked and all the newspapers and magazines in the lobby turned to mush. All in all it wasn't a fantastic day. They were interviewing a guy on the news who said it had taken him 2 hours to get to work instead of the normal 35 minutes. Let's fact it, the UK really can't cope with adverse weather conditions.

I'm currently watching the prom episode of One Tree Hill on E4. It has suddenly turned into a horror movie. Dawson's Creek it aint.
