I had to go over to uni after work today to get some books out of the library. There I was on the tube happily listening to my MP3 player and thinking about what I was going to write in my first Press Gang episode discussion when I realised that I'd forgotten to leave the train at South Ealing! I had to go to Acton Town, cross the platform and come back one stop. Someone, please lend me a brain cell!

Everyone at work reckons I should go ahead and reserve the flat tomorrow. We'll see.

I did start watching Paul Reynolds in Holby City on Tuesday night but I had to eat when I got home from Brownies and Mum was hogging the living room TV watching Fred Dibnah talking about steam engines. I started watching it again at about 8.45 but by then they were giving someone a tracheotomy and it was just too gruesome for me. Rosie Marcel wasn't in the episode though which I felt was a great shame as I was looking forward to the reunion of Colin and Sophie.

Talking of dumb blondes, one of my colleagues is campaigning for everyone to vote Nikki out of Big Brother. I don't think she'll go though, I think its more likely that one of the new people will get the elbow as they've had less time to build up a loyal fanbase.

That Michael guy looks very much like a guy I used to work with in my old job. There are similarities too: he was gay, studying industrial relations and he came from the Manchester area. I can't help wondering if it's him using a different name...

I'm volunteered to start discussions on 'Deadline' and 'Breakfast at Czars' on the 'Holding On' community. I'm a bit nervous as I've never done anything like this before but there are three weeks to go before my turn so I'll have a chance to see what everyone else does first. Fortunately, the episodes are both favourites of mine so I know them inside out.
Went back to the flat today with mum and dad. They both like the place so I guess I should go ahead and reserve on Monday morning. I also went to get another mortgage quote to cover the slightly more expensive property. It looks like the mortgage payment will be £310 per month, rent £147 per month, service charge £80 a month and council tax £75 a month. I have absolutely no idea how much the electricity and water bills will be but I figure that there's only one of me and I'm out of the house from 8am to 6pm everyday so I can't use that much.

I may have to curtail some of my expensive habits though. Spending £100 every other month on having my hair highlighted may have to stop *sob*

In other news, my work colleague will be happy. Nikki is about to evicted from Big Brother. I'll be pleased to be rid of her screaming tantrums but somehow it won't be the same without her...

I've made two new icons. Neither of them worked properly, the font is blurry on one and too small on the other. Oh well, I'll get there eventually.
