Shoe crisis...
Oct. 14th, 2008 10:01 pmOffice are unable to deliver my shoes due to 'limited stock'. I ordered them on the net the Saturday before last. They were meant to be delivered in 7-10 working days. I spoke to the depot on Thursday and they said they were ready to be dispatched. Today I recieved the email to say that they weren't on their way after all. The wedding is on Saturday. Aaarrrggghhh! I spent my lunch hour phoning all the local branches (of which there aren't that many) and Kingston is the only branch that has a size 6 in the colour I want. Unfortunately, it includes the one which has been on display. I've had it put to one side and will go and check it out on Thursday night. Fingers crossed that it's OK or I might be going barefoot :(
On the plus side they've given me a £20 voucher for the next time I order online as an apology. I'll have to find another pair to buy now.
