My baby sister (aged 25) has just got engaged. This isn't a huge suprise as they've been together for seven years and having been talking about marriage for ages but it's still exciting. I love weddings! I'm going to be a bridesmaid too. I've wanted to be a bridesmaid since I was four years old but the opportunity has never arisen...until now. I think there is a distinct danger that I'm going to be more bothered about my dress and what I look like than the bride herself. I'm not quite sure how our family is going to cope with a wedding. This is the first one for many years and we don't have a great history of organising big events. Oh well, we shall see I suppose. I wonder if there will be any good looking groomsmen/ushers...
The phones at work went down for several hours today due to a fault at the exchange. It was eerily quiet. Thank goodness for email or our work would have pretty much ground to a halt.
Whilst I was away last weekend my Dad popped round to try and fix my leaking tap. He was unable to fix it as he needed to get to the stop cock which is under the bath and he couldn't get the bath panel off. After leaking constantly for a fortnight the stupid thing stopped last night. Now my TV has gone funny. It wants to be tuned every time I turn it on. My life is a constant stream of intermittently faulty household goods :(
I have a sinus headache. Stupid hayfever.
