I know a song that will get on your nerves...

I love helping out at Brownies, I really do, however I would rather not have the following song stuck in my head:

It is sung to the tune of Frere Jacque and has accompanying actions. Aaarrrggghhh!

It's from 'Human Traffic' a movie I love because it's about clubbing, was filmed in Cardiff and has an amazing cast.

2. What's your current relationship status?
Single, single, single and more single.

3. Ever have a near-death experience?
I nearly choked on an ice cube once when I was a kid. I thought I was going to die until my mum smacked me hard on the back. It wasn't fun.

4. Name an obvious quality you have.
Erm, I'm very serious - not sure whether that's a good 'quality' though.

Not really.

No one.

8. Has anyone ever said you look like a celebrity?
Someone said I looked like Twiggy in my old work ID card photo. Hopefully when she was a bit younger!

9. Do you wear a watch?
Yes, always. I feel absolutely and completely lost without it. Which is worrying.

10. Do you have anything pierced?
Yep, both ears.

11. Do you have any tattoos?
No, and I don't like them, just ask Cardiff Bloke what I told him I thought of his! He wasn't happy!

12. Do you like pain?
Generally no but it depends on the context.

13. Do you like to shop?
Yes, I even like window shopping.

14. What was the last thing you paid for with cash?
A hot chocolate on Saturday. I've been flashing the plastic this week.

Some food at Asda this evening.

16. Who was the last person you spoke to on the phone?
A rep at a recruitment agency. I was making a complaint.

17. What is on your desktop background?
At work I've just got the standard Windows XP desert island one. At home I have a still of the opening titles of series one/two of Press Gang.

18. What is the background on your cell phone?
Colin from Press Gang in his pink bunny suit.

19. Do you like redheads?
I don't dislike them and I went out with a redheaded guy for while.

20. Do you know any twins?
I did at school but I don't have any in my current friendship group.

21. Do you have any weird relatives?
Not really. We're quirky but generally dull.

22. What was the last movie you watched?
The Life of Brian on DVD.

23. What was the last book you read?
The last one I finished was called 'Mother London'. I can't remember who wrote it but it was about mental patients. I'm now reading 'The Hollow Chocolate Bunnies of the Apocalypse' by Robert Rankin.

24. Is there such a thing as love at first sight, or it is more likely to be "lust at first sight"?
I really don't know. Lust at first sight is more likely. Was definitely the case with me and Cardiff Ex. I had to have him as soon as I saw him.

25. What's your favorite book?
Adrian Mole - The Wilderness Years and also Ballet Shoes.

26. When was the last time you visited the street where you first lived?
Sunday. My parents still live in the same house.

27. When was the last time you googled your own name?
Ages ago. Someone with the same name as me was doing very well in the northern schools cross country league at the time!

28. What was/is your favorite subject at school?
History.

29. What was/is your least favorite subject at school?
PE. Especially playing football in the middle of winter.

30. Do you like having your photograph taken?
No. I always grin and make myself look like an idiot.

I don't know but it was on a Wednesday - Wednesday's child being full of woe of course.

32. Ever seriously questioned your sanity?
Not really.

33. How many phone numbers do you have remembered and can say off the top of your head?
My flat, My mobile, My own work number and that of 6 close colleagues, the IS helpdesk at work and several numbers at our other site which I use alot. My parents, my best friend from school's landlines and several other numbers I dialled alot before I had a mobile.

34. Can you limbo?
Not very well.

35. Have you ever killed your own dinner?
Nope. Hopefully, I never will have to.

36. How long have you been living at your current residence?
Just over a year. The building has only been here 18 months. The site was previously occupied by a really quaint pub.

37. What phobias do you have?
Thunder, Death and enclosed spaces. I don't like beetles much but I wouldn't call it a phobia as such.

38. What's your ideal breakfast?
Porrige.

39. Where are you right now?
At home. Seriously considering going to bed as it is ten to eleven.

40. Why do you blog?
I find it theraputic and also I could never keep a diary on paper but I've kept my LJ going for four years.

41. What would you call your autobiography?
No idea. I would like it to involve an intelligent pun though - if there is such a thing.

42. What's the longest time you've stayed out of the country/where?
Ten days in Italy in 2001 and months at a time in Wales whilst at uni of course.

43. Do you use ICQ, AIM, etc..?
I use Messenger a bit.

44. Do you have nightmares frequently?
No, my dreams tend to be wierd rather than scary.

45. If you were another person, would you be friends with you?
Nope. I'm quiet and I nearly always make friends with loud people.

46. Which TV character could you be friends with?
Sarah from Press Gang. We are virtually the same person anyway!

47. What's on your mouse pad?
At work - a cool squigy thing from Capita Education Services (who we never use). At home - funky psychadelic colours from Paperchase.

Charly by the Prodigy.

49. What did you watch on TV last night?
Monarchy - The Royal Family at Work. I loved it. I don't believe in the monarchy but from an historical perspective I find the pagentry fascinating. I also have alot of respect for the Queen and I'm sooo glad I'm not her.

50. Scary movies or happy endings?
Happy endings every time.
