Dull update...
May. 3rd, 2007 10:59 pmYes, this is a dull update. Not much has happened this week but I feel I should write something.
I got a letter from the Council yesterday saying that my first direct debit Council Tax payment had not been deducted from my account as my bank had lost the direct debit mandate. I can't believe that in this day and age a bank still needs a scrappy bit of paper to set up a transaction. Anyhow, I now know why my bank balance looked so good a couple of days after payday and it's not for a good reason.
For some reason I found myself watching The Apprentice again last night. I'm so pleased the posh ex-army officer bloke was fired. His voice really irritated my for some reason and he clearly couldn't organise his way out of a wet paper bag. Hopefully, his equally annoying girlfriend will be ditched very soon as her voice gets on my nerves as well. Honestly, where do they find these people. Randomly, one of my uni tutors used to teach the first apprentice winner Tim Campbell when he was doing the same course I'm doing now. Apparantly he failed.
I don't normally watch The Bill but I got in late tonight after a spot of late night shopping and it was on whilst I was eating dinner. Oddly it was a bit of a CBBC fest with ex-presenter Ortis playing an evil crack dealer and Emma Miller (formerly of Byker Grove and more recently of Waterloo Road) playing a crack addict.
Thats it for now. I told you it was dull!
