Good, Sad, Bad, Other...
Apr. 23rd, 2007 11:17 pmGood - My sister left a message on myspace saying that I look beautiful in my friend's wedding photos. It made me feel all warm a fuzzy inside.
Sad - Boris Yeltzin died today. I remember exactly where I was when he lead the coup which bought him to power. I was on holiday at the Civil Service holiday camp in Gloucestershire with my family. I remember the feeling that something very important was happening but not really understanding what it was. I'm no expert on modern Russian politics. I just know that Yeltzin didn't give me the creeps as much as Putin does.
Bad - I still haven't finished my Management Report. It must be completed, bound and handed in by 9pm on Thursday (I'm not risking handing it in on Friday). I've been surviving on 3 hours sleep a night for the last week.
Other - At work we were wondering what proportion of our days are spend either discussing the weather or complaining about things that don't really matter (envelopes aren't sticky enough, computers are running a bit slow etc.) We concluded that we are a very English office.
