After 10 phone calls to O2 Customer Services and a five page long letter of complaint my phone was reconnected on Tuesday afternoon. It turns out that the problem was my fault after all but I still think it took them an unacceptable amount of time to sort it out.

I'm now living at the flat but I'm at mum and dad's tonight packing up some more stuff. Tomorrow we're moving the computer down there and then all the big stuff is done. At the moment it's all about figuring out how things work. I've been experimenting with heating temperatures which has resulted in me being both freezing cold and boiling hot on certain days. The hot water is a pain as you only seem to get enough to have a shower or wash the dishes from the cheap rate electric. I guess it saves a bit of money but it kind of defeats the object if you keep having to resort to peak rate expensive stuff all the time.

Next Thursday some of my uni friends are coming round for pizza, desert and a few glasses of wine. My proper housewarming won't be until my birthday time in January.

I even managed to do a bit of uni work last night...

Still enjoying the repeats of 'This Life' on BBC2. The second episode last night didn't finish until 1.25am this morning thanks to the cricket highlights but I still made it to work on time. I love the characterisation. It's hard to believe that nasty schoolboy Miles is played by the same person as the lovely Steve in 'Coupling'. Which reminds me that I should try and see 'Coupling' again.
