I'm back...

I've just handed in my final first year assignment and I want to go home to bed. Due to lack of concentration and irrational panicing I didn't finish the stupid thing until 2.30am this morning. As a result, all I've got the energy to do now is go home to bed. Just thought I'd pop in to the uni computer room and make use of their speedy internet connection first.

So the big news this week in my insignificant little life is...

Lucy Benjamin won 'X Factor: Battle of the Stars' despite the fact I neither watched the show nor voted for her. I quite suprised as before the show I was convinced that either Nikki Sanderson ('er off Corrie) or Chris Moyles ('im off the radio) would win. Anyway, I'm happy for her. Let's hope she gets some decent jobs out of it.

I've been playing 'The Sims 2' on PS2. It's actually a pretty boring, repetative game but it was a gift so I'm persevering. Excitingly, I've just arrived at the UFO landing site and made first contact with the aliens!

It's hot. Last week I went into work on Tuesday in just a shirt and sat in a meeting with my teeth chattering constantly. This week a shirt is too much. The worst thing is my crowded morning and afternoon bus journeys. I'm so glad I don't have to get the tube to work.

On the subject of shirts, my boss and I turned up to work in almost identical ones today. Hers is yellow and mine's pink! Not a good experience for either of us.

This weekend I'm going to see a play about librarians called 'Alphabetical Order'. Which is by Michael Frayn who also wrote 'Noises Off' the second funniest play I've ever seen (the funniest is 'Black Comedy' by Peter Schafer). After laughs at the theatre on Saturday night I'm off to the 'Pants in the Park' fun run in Battersea on Sunday morning. Not sure whether I'm actually going to run but I will definitely be helping out my friend who is organising the event. I might get to meet Darren Campbell, one of my recent athletics heros :) The bad news is that it starts at 10.30am. I don't even remember what 10.30am on a Sunday looks like!

Thats it for now. Will be back when I'm (hopefully) feeling a bit more coherant!

Note to Keladeekadys: As a result of it being assignment handing in week I've still got last weeks Dr Who stickers. I'll put them in the post tomorrow anyway. If you don't need/want them flog them on ebay.
