I spoke to Cat last night. She's back in Chichester living with her Granny and temping for the community office of the local council (why couldn't I get a good temp job like that when I needed one? It's not like she has any more office experience than me!) Anyway, the bank keep sending her letter about attending a 'managing your finances' course as she's in so much debt after her travels. Her bloke comes from North London so when he gets back from Oz they might hook up. She has over 500 photos, it'll probably take a few visits to get through that lot!

Apparently, Mel's having fun in Oxford and she's already ditched the accountant she was seeing before she went away.

I've finally finished my application form. Now all I need is for my line manager to give me a good recommendation and to think of loads of impressive stuff to say at my board. I'm preparing myself for the fact that several people in the office are no longer going to want to be my friend, or by the looks of it to be vaguely civil to me, if I get the job which will be hard. Most people at work seem to be happy but one or two are really bitter and twisted.

I watched a bit of 'Property Ladder' last night. Having watched several episodes I'm convinced that I could be a better property developer than most of the people featured. None of them plan properly, they all budget unrealisticly and spend money on things that they like rather than buying things which would add value to the house. The guy yesterday knocked down all the internal walls in his flat before getting planning permission to build the loft conversion he wanted!
