Nov. 3rd, 2003 10:13 pmThe application form isn't going well. I'm really stuck trying to think of examples for the last two questions, especially the 'business knowledge' one. Fortunately, and this'll sound pretty callous, my line manager is off of work with flu which gives me a bit more thinking time as she needs to write me a recommendation before I can submit the thing.
Bought a pale blue v necked t-shirt and a similar coloured skinny, zip up cardie in H & M at lunchtime for the bargainous price of £19. I normally can't be bothered to search through all the disorganised rails in H & M so I'm pretty please with myself. Still no new work trousers, which are much needed after I wrecked my pinstriped pair on Friday, though.
Wildcat postal strike has finished thank goodness. Felt sorry for the poor guy who had to open the post this morning, there was loads! The fact that we got the wrong office's taxpost on Friday didn't help things as it meant there was twice as much of that as well.
