My mother has squashed my cowboy hat. I was hoping to wear it to the 'novelty hat' themed 30th birthday do I'm attending on Saturday. Now it looks stupid (and not in a good way). Oh well.
I've just found out that one of my best friends from school had a baby boy in October. I've lost touch with her over the years and I'm sad that I had to find out this information third hand. Life is strange.
