I started playing Spryro the Dragon: A Hero's Tail last year. I never thought I'd reach the end. This evening I finally made it. It's not anywhere near complete yet but at least I've defeated the final boss. I feel that I've accomplished something this evening. The fact that it involves a video game clearly aimed at children is obviously a bit tragic but it's made me happy.
There's absolutely sod all worth watching on TV this evening. The schedulers seem to have given up putting anything vaguely interesting up against Big Brother. I find this a bit ironic as I don't know a single person who is watching BB this year. Even the stalwarts at work have kicked the habit. In a minute I'm going to try and screen cap the original 'Hairspray' with a view to making some userpics in the near future.
Tomorrow I'm off to a family party in deepest Surrey. It's a joint 60th birthday and Ruby Wedding party for a cousin of my Dad. My Dad has around 30 cousins and I have absolutely no idea who this person is. At least I'll be able to catch up with my sister and my aunt and uncle. I'm also hoping someone will take a decent photo of me so I can replace my current photo on My Single Friend. I think the cheesy grin and rubbish background (the magnolia painted, woodchipped wall of the lobby at work) may be putting people off.
I seem to have volunteered to make a cake for work the week after next. I really hope it works as well as the last one or my reputation will be in tatters!
