Too good to be true...
Jun. 15th, 2008 09:38 pmI bought the dress. The size 8 was still a bit big on top with a non padded, strapless bra but I bought it anyway. I think it'll be fine as long as I safety pin it to my bra and be carefull not to wave my arms above my head. Mum is coming round to have a look next weekend to give her seal of approval. I bet she says it looks awful. It is way too good to be true that I should already have an outfit sorted for a wedding which isn't for four months. I already have shoes which will go with it (although they are open toed which may cause a problem if it rains) and a suitable bag so all I'm looking for is a cardie or wrap and accessories. Fingers crossed.
They didn't have the jewelled gladiator sandals I had my eye on in a size 6 but that's probably a good thing anyway. I don't really need them so I've saved myself £15. That can go towards the phone bill. £41 of which just over £1 was call charges. I nearly cry every time I pay the flippin' thing but I need a phone line for the internet so there's not much I can do about it.
Back to work tomorrow. The weekend has gone all too quickly again. At least I managed to clean the bathroom. It's sparkling now.
