I can't get no sleep...

The people upstairs decided to play a CD of rubbish love songs extremely loudly between 3.45am and 4.30am this morning. I had no chance of getting back to sleep whilst it was playing. Additionally, I absolutely hate love songs at the best of times. It was horrible. I didn't wake up until 10am and I still feel like a zombie. As a consequence I'm also running late. Argh!

Thank you for your support over the loud music at 3.45am incident. All I can really do at the moment is hope that it doesn't happen again for a while. Earlier on I forgot to say that the people next door think it's me making the noise. Whenever upstairs play loud music in the early hours next door start banging on my wall! They can obviously hear that the music is coming from my direction and assume that it's me. I guess I should go around and explain but unforunately I'm too much of a coward.

In better news, I went shopping in Reading today. I bought a pair of black Dunlop green flash trainers in Schuh to replace my New Look trainers which are about to fall apart. I love Schuh. It was one of my favourite shops when I was at Uni in Cardiff. The trainers are very Emo but they should be comfy for walking home. I also bought a sunglasses and a jade green t-shirt dress in Oasis. I had a £20 gift voucher for Oasis so I got the dress for £22. The sunglasses were essential as the pair I bought two years ago are now chronically out of fashion. I didn't buy any last year thanks to the non-existent summer. I then had my first frescato of the year from Costa. I prefer Starbucks frappachinos but there isn't a Starbucks at Reading station. The air conditioning on the train was almost too cold. I felt like a needed a jumper!

Went to the parents' place for dinner this evening. They've bought me some sheers so I can prune my little box hedge which seems to be undergoing a spring growth spurt at the moment. The sheers are pink to match the 'chicks tool kit' they bought me for Christmas. I'm not sure how they decided that I liked pink. All my stuff looks really girlie and unprofessional now!

Keith from The Office is guest starring in the episode of Mile High I'm watching at the moment. He is so wooden an oak tree could have played the part more convincingly.
