Another week, another grumble fest...

In tonight's exciting installment of verucca watch I can reveal that I took the dressing off last night and the offending toe now looks awful. I'm hoping this is a sign that the treatment is working and not that my toe is about to fall off or something similar.

I walked home from work this evening for the first time in a couple of weeks. My legs were really tired by the time I got to Asda. I was desperate to get home in time for Hollyoaks and became very irritated with the people in front of me in the 15 items or less queue as they clearly had more than 15 items. I am such a sad case these days.

Payday today. I got an incremental pay rise on 1st April. Unfortunately, most of it just disappeared as it forced my student loan repayments up and my pension contributions went up because of changes to the pension scheme. At least I'll now be receiving a whole £30 per month more than I did before. Not to be sniffed at in the current economic climate.

Tomorrow night I will be hiding from my school reunion although part of me would like to hide outside just to see what everyone looks like. Nobody I really want to speak to is going. One of the people who is attending was actually expelled from school. Will definitely be looking at the photos afterwards though.
