I still have a cold. I clearly wasn't poorly enough to warrant a sick day but still felt crummy at work. My headache was effecting my concentration and it took me twice as long as normal to complete simple tasks. My sinuses are bunged up and painful, however I've taken two Asda Max Strength Decongestant Capsules and now feel much better. I think this is mainly due to the caffeine they contain as I suddenly feel energetic and have (totally uncharacteristically) done quite a few chores around the flat. Hopefully, I'm over the worst now and will be feeling OK for my week off work.
Tomorrow I have a hospital appointment I've been waiting for since February. It is with a consultant gastroenterologist (I have no idea if that is spelt correctly, I don't think I've ever had to write it before) and I'm expecting to be refered for some unpleasant tests. I hope I don't have to wait for ages in the waiting room. I hate hospital waiting rooms. I always seem to end up sitting next to an elderly person who wants to tell me how the area has gone down hill since they let 'all these foreigners' in.
The freezer drawer is still jammed shut, the loo seat is still wonky and my mp3 player has gone funny again. Other than that life is great!
