I wish I'd taken a photo...

This afternoon I went out for my our team Christmas lunch. The venue was Tootsies in Richmond which is billed as an American style restaurant. We chose our food some weeks ago from a menu containing minimal information and, having never been there before, I had little idea what to expect. I'd chosen tomato and mozarella salad for my starter and it was very nice although the 'selection of green leaves' was more like 'a big pile of rocket'. The fillet of salmon I'd chosen for my main course was also nice. In fact everything was fine until the desert arrived. I'd chosen 'American Chocolate Brownie Squares'. I hadn't banked on recieving the biggest ice-cream sundae I'd seen in my life! It was gigantic. There was sooooo much cream on the top. I dread to think how many calories it contained. I'm literally still full up now. The only thing I've eaten this evening is an advent calender chocolate. I can't manage anything else. I think I will probably still be full up this time tomorrow. Good value for £30 inclusive of service charge though!
