Anti social behaviour (mine)
Aug. 2nd, 2006 09:41 pmI had way too much to drink at my friend's party on Saturday night and made a complete idiot of myself by being sick whilst asleep on her sofa. Fortunately, it was only my pillow which really suffered and it's washed out OK, but still. I don't think I'm going to be invited back there for a while. I'd love to say that it's the first time this has happened but it's not. In fact it's become an almost annual occurance. Once a year I just seem to loose control. Most of the time I don't drink much, probably 45 weeks a year I don't have more than one glass of wine a week. As a result I've given up drinking, again.
Aside from the getting drunk and being sick it was good party. I got to chat to lots of interesting people and ate some tasty bbq food. Full of couples though. I think there were only four single people there including me and they were all female.
In other news, I've now got the contract for the flat which I need to sign and return to my solicitor once she's back from her holiday. I'm not allowed to skateboard in the communal areas or keep any cats, dogs, rodents or fowl amongst other things. The scariest thing though is the party wall agreement. I have to make a formal agreement with my neighbours before I do anything with the party walls. What if they don't want me to put shelves up? I won't have anywhere to put my books! Still, all on target for the end of August though.
Grandad's funeral is next Wednesday. I'll be spending tomorrow creating death announcement notes on the PC with my computer illiterate dad. This is sure to involve a lot of bickering.
I've been playing a lot of 'The Simpsons: Road Rage' on PS2. I'm only on level two and I'm very, very stuck. The game is for ages three and up!
