My parents are back from their holiday now. I've been complimented on how clean and tidy the house looks. I'm pleased that they noticed after all that effort!

I went out with bloke I used to work with on Wednesday. It was good to meet up but I found myself feeling a bit sorry for him. He is doing a lot of unsuccessful internet dating at the moment. The good thing is that he's writing a TV screenplay about his experiences. I did my PR bit and suggested that he go on the screenwriting course at work! Anyway, he says that he'll give me a walk on part if it ever gets on TV. He has no idea what a terrible actor I am and how un photogenic I am. I'm sure I could single handedly ruin any pilot! He was trying to convince me to tell him the address of this journal but I was strong. What he really wants to know is what TV programme I was obsessed when I was at Uni. The answer is, of course, The Tribe but I'm going to keep him guessing for a while. He'll never get it. At present he is probably googling dragongirl and finding loads of porn sites!

The thing is that he's a good looking guy but there's no spark. In all honesty he's probably not quirky enough for me to be interested in. It's good to hear that most of the people I used to work with are doing well for themselves. One is Customer Service Manager now, I must send him an email.

Radio 1 has been really cool today. Earlier on they were doing a 10 hour takeover and played some fantastic tracks. They were looking for TV themes and I texted in and suggested Press Gang but they played 'Dogtanian', 'The Flintstones' and 'Minder'. The two tracks I would've texted in if I'd thought about it earlier 'Out of Space' and 'On a Ragga Tip' were played so I guess I can't complain. Ex Plymouth housemate has MSNed saying he would've had 'Born Slippy' or the them from 'Pulp Fiction' if he'd been picking a movie theme. I would've had the mix of 'Walk this Land' they used in Lock Stock. The track that first converted me to drum and bass. I don't like the movie, though I might have to watch it again now with my new found interest in Dexter Fletcher! Anyway, back to Radio 1. Zane Lowe is now on and he's doing an album amnesty where people have sent in one of their album to be in with a chance of winning all the albums sent in. He's currently playing selected tracks from them. Random but interesting. I haven't heard a Coldplay track all weekend, yay! If I'd sent an album in it would've had to have been one I don't like anymore and I still love most of my CDs.

Watched 'A Bear's Tail' on E4 on Friday night because Dexter Fletcher is in it. It was a repeat of the first episode and he mocked his accent in 'Press Gang'. I was shocked at how old and grey he looked but I think he had been made to look worse for the part. On Sunday night I watched a repeat of the final episode of 'Trevor's World of Sport'. Paul Reynolds said the classic 'Colin' line "love your input" sadly he didn't top it off with "let's do lunch". I'm sure it was deliberate though. Funny how 'Press Gang' has stuck with these people for 15 years. I think it's about time Paul Reynolds had a series of his own. Stephen Moffat are you listening?!

In other TV news, I'm still loving 'Arrested Development'.
