Oh F**k!!!
Nov. 15th, 2009 11:04 pmI am being punished! Since I started my new job (5 months ago today fact fans) I've been really smug about the fact I swapped my horrible overcrowded, slow, traffic jam prone, screaming kid filled bus commute for a more expensive but considerably more comfortable train commute. It has now all gone horribly wrong. I popped down to the station this afternoon to renew my monthly travelcard to be told that no trains will be running between Staines and Twickenham until further notice because a river bridge was flood damaged on Saturday. This is bad news. I will have to get up early and catch a stupid, overcrowded replacement bus service tomorrow morning. Not a good start to the week at all. Fingers crossed that they sort it out quickly.
In other news, I didn't realise that Dr Who was on tonight so I'll have to iPlayer it. I will be avoiding spoilers like mad in the meantime. I can't say that I'm looking forward to the end of David Tennent's Dr but I imagine there will be plenty of nailbiting moments in his final few episodes. The Sarah Jane Adventures was pretty scary this week. I think I'm more attached to the main characters in The SJ Adventures than I have been to the characters in any show for a long time. I particularly love Rani's clueless parents and also the great actors who have guest starred. Jeff Rawle was on this week and Nigel Havers appeared in the Dr crossover episode. Great stuff!
