Results and dodgy joints...
Jul. 25th, 2006 08:51 pmWent to see my GP last night as my left hand has really been hurting a lot over the weekend. After a lot of poking, prodding, bending and stretching, he reckons I have 'lax joints' and is sending me for a blood test to test my rheumatic system. Great! Last time I had a blood test they had terrible trouble extracting blood and I ended up with bruises all over my inner arms. I was very brave and allowed the doctor to touch the veins under my wrists which I have a major phobia about. Normally, I can't even touch my own wrists.
In better news, I passed the second half of my first year at uni with 62%. The results lists are posted by number and following intense scruity of all the other results I deduced that around 5 people failed the last module and retakes of the exams they initially failed in January. My class may be quite a bit smaller next year. On a more positive note several people got really high marks in the 70%-90% range too. I must do better next time to be in the top quartile of the class rather than the top half!
In not very shocking news, it's hot.
A bit OT but hey, it's my journal. I've decided that if I ever have a hen night I want all the songs which I've enjoyed dancing to the most played. These include:
- Out of Space by The Prodigy
- Smack my Bitch Up by The Prodigy
- No Good (Start the Dance) by The Prodigy
- All I Want by Mis teeq
- On a Ragga Tip by SL2
- A Little bit of Luck and Masterblaster 2000 both by DJ Luck and MC Neat
- Straight from the Heart by Doolally
I will be adding to this list.
