It has just turned 00:07 hours on Sunday 6th March 2005. My Cardiff bloke turns 29 today. I've sent him a card with a horrible hamster related joke on it and a bag of mini eggs (bit of a rubbish present but I had to find somthing that would fit through his letter box) so hopefully he'll be happy. I enclosed a letter in which I attempted to express how unhappy he made me last time I visited which I hope he reads and takes notice of. Sadly, I keep remembering other things that I meant to include and forgot. Oh well. He's not coming down for the RAG reunion next weekend any more so that's solved one little problem. I can now go and stay at my ex housemate's instead of having to leave early to struggle home with him.
Still not sure whether I'm looking forward to the RAG thing. Must remember to text the organiser and ask her whether we're likely to be going somewhere that doesn't allow jeans. I'm having my hair cut during the day so at least my hair will look nice.
Going shopping tomorrow to buy my mum some flowers for Mother's Day. Will try and find some shoes to buy in Faith as I have a 10% off voucher from a magazine. I really need some work shoes and some brown boots. The work shoes situation is getting desperate as I'm about to go through the bottom of my present work boots. My problem is that I need shoes with heels so that my trousers don't drag along the ground and the heels need to be substantial so that I don't topple down the stairs at work. All the shoes/boots in the shops at the moment seem to be flat or have spike heels.
My mum has been called for jury service. She deferred it about 15 years ago when my sister and I were little so it's finally come around again. The court she has been called to is just around the corner from work and she has to report at 9.15am so we can get the bus together.
